Labour shadow home secretary – no regret over IRA support

When questioned on the BBC’s Andrew Marr show, Diane Abbott – the shadow home secretary – said she had “moved on” from remarks she made in the 1980s when she declared her support for the IRA and claimed “every defeat of the British state is a victory for all of us”. When asked by Marr did she regret her support of the IRA back in the 80’s she launched into a bizarre response that she had an afro then and things have moved on.  The UK cannot risk this Labour Party getting into Downing Street.
